Blockhead - The Music Scene
Evy Jane - Sayo
Based in the magnificent city of Vancouver in Canada, Evelyn Mason and Jeremiah Klein are behind the experimental delinquent sub-bass that is Evy Jane.
Wildcookie
His debut album 'Cookie Dough' is crisp and smooth with alt f songs about drugs. My favorite ones are the ones about drugs, like Cocaine and Heroine. Its the mood that they have, very jazzy and cool with awesome lyrics. This album is released off of Freddie Cruger, aka Red Astaire's own record label 'Home Grown'.
French Fries -Yo Vogue
Such a good combination, i just find this video hilarious reminds me of Josh Lake the douche. the video works so well with the vulgar and repetitive song.
Sepalcure - Pencil Pimp
Photographically an amazing Video, great shots, really nice slow motion parts, such simple angles but done really well. alot of abstract symbolism in this, very odd at times but holds your attention through out. Very peacefully ending scene with the blond drifting into the lake on an air bed at night, makes me wonder what it would be like to sleep like that for the whole night, must try it.
Album just out via hotflush records
Real - Whoever Said..
Compiled by Ted Oliver, his inter-dimensional video takes in to back to the future style video graphics. Very simplistic and geometrical, make sme think of the 80s alot.
Pixleord - Iron and Cream
I know this isn't a video, but its too god damn good not post and the cover well designed, what i make a video for it? yeah that'll make it ok. But anyway while your waiting for that, Listen! Also check out part 2 on youtube.
Is Tropical - the Greeks
Say hello to Is Tropical: the trio and its rocky-electro ADD sounds, performed with veiled faces and psychedelic projections got French indie insane at Paris’ Kitsuné night last week. Dubbed the ‘Messiah of the event’ by the local music press, the boys are about to give the world a taste of tropical malady. With their new video for 'The Greeks' they go all out and have a child massacre, amazingly filmed and awesomely acted. Pow
Modeselektor - Shipwreck
Shipwreck is their first release off their new album 'Monkey Town', via his own lable by the same name. With this song comes a very fitting video of a boy surviving a zombie outbreak. its got a cool dog itn it too.
