These are a series of found images from the "South London Innovation Centre". From the 1970s these pictures were taken to document these rather odd innovations, my favourite being the telephone with what seems to be a keypad lock. perhaps the first instance of the lock/hold button on your phone. The cumbersome design and the irrelevant use is completely absurd. Its actually ahead of its time, it was just waiting for the mobile phone to come alone and then with a slight design tweak it would have been usable.
