Originally from Russia Alex Gaidouk now resides in Brooklyn. These Images stood out from the rest, and i think their narrative works well together. For me these images are about feelings of emptiness and silence, with the large amounts of white giving off a type of visual static or white noise. Movie like, the contrast gives me a feeling of tension.
I like how Alex Gaidouk has framed the door perfectly in the shot above. If the door was not visible or obstructed i think it would make the shot much more flat and scenic, but with it i think it adds to the feeling of a story or narrative. The image becomes a journey, up the stairs and out through the door which leaves the viewer with a question of what through that door.
