Street Art in Toronto

Didn't expect so much Graffiti when i walked around Toronto. It was hard not to see any, especially in Chinatown, it was splashed on every sure face like there had been a tidal wave of spray cans that crashed through the streets leaving everything tagged. Because all the roads in the city are grid based, you get loads of alleyways and edges of buildings, which seems to have been sussed out by anyone with a can of paint.

The Sculpture was outside the main Toronto Gallery. Designed by general idea and displayed outside the main entrance. Its been covered in stickers, tags and pictures, which I'm not sure if its been planned that way but it looks awesome. It looks like it was designed this was, especially as the plinth its standing on is completely clean. Its a great collaborative piece and it seems to be excepted by the gallery and the public.

A huge mess of tags and paint on a door in Kensington market in Chinatown. Kensington market is much like brick lane in London
